Before treatment:
The patient was a full-term delivery baby. He had amniotic fluid aspiration when he was born so he was put in incubator for 10 days. He was normal like other children until he was 2 years old then when he grew up his family found he was slow to react to others. His language ability was not good, he could  speak a few words but not sentences, he was hyperactive and inattentive. He was diagnosed with autism by a local hospital. He was obstinate, couldn’t communicate with others, could only understand some of his parent's words and sometimes he was aggressive. He took Risperidone  but he put on a lot of weight so the medicine was stopped. At present his spirit and mind are abnormal, he is hyperactive and he needs help in his daily life. He uses movements to show his feelings and he goes to a special school. After some training he is able to do some games, knows some words and numbers, but he is only able to speak a few words.
His diet, urination function and defecation functions are normal, he sleeps well. 
   
Admission PE:
Bp: 110/72mmHg, Hr: 86/min, breathing rate: 20/min, body temperature: 36.7 degrees. Height: 150cm, weight: 56Kg. He has normal physical development and the nutrition status is good. There were no abnormal signs with his heart, lungs and abdominal organs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert, showed a hyperactive spirit but abnormal behavior. He had aggressive behavior when others were close to him, he talked to himself,  he could complete simple instructions but he couldn’t take the initiative to communicate with people. He was inattentive, couldn‘t cooperate with directional force and memory ability tests, showed poor understanding,、poor judgment and poor cooperation. He rarely made eye contact and was hyperactive. His language was limited to a few words with no complete sentences, he knew the letters from A to Z and the numbers from 1 to 10. Both pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3 mm, react well to light, no nystagmus and the eyeballs can move freely. He couldn’t complete the other nervous system examinations.

Treatment:
After the admission he received related examinations and received 3 times nerve regeneration treatment to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves, nourish nerves, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was done with rehabilitation training.     

Post-treatment:
After 12 days treatment his mental status and spirit was much more stable, hyperactivity reduced, focusing attention was better, his comprehension ability was improved and he could cooperate with the therapy much better. He could speak a three words sentence.
