Before treatment:
The patient had left foot drop 3 years ago and his right foot became the same after that. He did a brain MRI and an EMG and  was diagnosed with Specific allergic granulomatosis. He did cyclophosphamide treatment and he felt better. In the same year he had respiration problems so he did some tests and the result showed he had necrosis in his lung, he also had plantar microthrombus. He used some kinds of medicine but his condition still got worse. 2 years ago it became hard for him to go up and down stairs, his balance function was bad and he fell down a lot so he had to use wheelchair.   He was then hospitalized with the diagnosis of Cerebrovascular Disease.
His spirit and diet is normal. His urination and defecation functions are normal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 144/88mmHg, Hr: 70/min, breathing rate: 17/min. body temperature: 36.7 degrees, height: 168cm, weight: 107Kg. There is no injury or bleeding spots of his skin and mucosa, no blausucht and no tonsil swelling. The respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear with no dry or moist rales. The heart beat is powerful with regular cardiac rhythm and no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was bulging with no masses or tenderness.  His liver and spleen were normal. The spinal column is normal with no edema of the legs.

Nervous System Examination:
Patient was alert and had a good mental status with clear speech. His memory, orientation and calculation abilities were normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, diameter of 3mm, react well to light and the eyeballs can move freely. Bilateral forehead wrinkle and nasolabial fold are symmetrical, he can make his tongue extend out as normal with no tremor. Bilateral soft palate can lift as normal, the uvula was in middle and he can shrug as normal. The arms muscle power were 5 degrees, leg muscle power were 5 degrees. The 4 limbs muscle tone and tendon reflex were normal. Bilateral abdominal reflex were normal. The bilateral Hoffmann sign and Rossilimo sign of both sides were negative, the sucking reflex of both sides, bilateral sucking reflex and palm-jaw reflex of both sides were all negative. The Babinski sign of both sides were negative, his sensory examination of both sides were normal. Patient could perform the finger to nose test and finger opposite test as normal. The left side fast alternate movement was clumsy, his heel-knee-tibia test was normal. The meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After the admission he received 3  nerve regeneration treatments (neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells) to repair his damaged nerves, replace dead nerves with new injected stem cells, nourish nerves, regulate his immune system and improve blood circulation. This was done with rehabilitation training.     

Post-treatment:
After 14 days treatment his balance control got better, his body tremor when he was walking reduced a lot, he walked better and for longer. He could now stand up from bed and do single leg standing with his right leg in a normal way.
