Before the Treatment:

The patient's mother got an intrauterine infection during the 34 week gestation period. Patient was born with inanimate signs, Apgar score was 1. She was sent to the tutelary ward and given an auxiliary ventilator to assist her breathing for 15 days. At this point she could cry, but her sounds were weaker than the other babies, and she had paroxysmal tremors in both arms. Upon examination, several abnormalities showed which the local doctors considered the result of an "oxygen deficiency brain injury," which up to that point had been untreated. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus of the head after the CT examination, which was given 20 days after her birth. Then she underwent a VPA treatment implantation operation. She developed the paroxysmal twitching when she was one and half months old. During the paroxysm her head would turn to the right, right eye would glaze over, facial hyperemia, her lips, mouth and tongue were blue, buckling stiffness in both arms.  No obvious effects after the Diazepam injection, oral Apilepsin ineffective. One and a half month before she was using Sabril for oral treatment, but she was still experiencing seizures continuously and there were no significant decrease in the number of paroxysm attacks. The duration of the paroxysmal attacks were different .The patient's motor ability was slower than with normal child development.

Her height was 57cm, weight 6kg when she was admitted to the hospital; she was conscious, was able to cry and smile but couldn't laugh. She could not express happiness or excitement in her voice. When she did cry, the sound was low. Her eye movements were flexible, she had difficulty raising her head, and she could turn to another side and raise her head, but only for a few seconds. When the patient was lying on her stomach, she would regurgitate milk. She can engage in normal activities with all four limbs and there are no signs of abnormalities, she could raise her hips a little when lying on her stomach. Patient could hold hands and turn objects around and when she lies on her stomach, she could turn to one side or the other with her mother's help. She could recognize familiar syllables and sounds and was comforted and would smile upon hearing her mother's voice. She would also turn her head toward her mother and look at her directly. She would cry when she wanted her mother's embrace. She wasn't able to see her feet when she was lying flat. She had a grasping reflex, but couldn't pick things up. She also didn't use her hands to play with the available toys and wasn't able to show friendliness towards strangers.

According to her medical history and related examination, the diagnoses was given as Cerebral palsy, and the doctor has given the patient treatments to nourish the nerves, improve circulation, control the epileptic seizures, and used stem cell treatment with four implantations to activate the nerve stem cells.

After the Treatment:

The patient no longer suffers from paroxysm epilepsy, sleeps much better, is now eating regularly, urine normal, height 60cm,weight 6.5kg, her eyes are more flexible and her motor abilities are much better and she is more active. Her head can turn more flexibly; she can smile but doesn't laugh. She still has difficulty raising her head while she is in a sitting position. She often wants to turn over and can finish this movement with more power. She is able to grasp objects much better now. She can turn over from her stomach to her back, no longer regurgitates milk, can sit up for several seconds if assisted by someone holding her arms. She has stronger coughs and can crawl 20-30cm while holding someone's hand.
