Before treatment:
The patient’s mother bled from her vagina with no apparent reason when she was pregnant for 9 months, so she had Caesarean. The patient was healthy when he was born, but at the age of 3 months, his mother found he could not raise his head, and his eye position was abnormal, his movement was slow, so his mother took him to a local hospital and he was examined. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but had no treatment. The patient’s body movement and cognitive function delayed in development. He could raise his head at the age of 7 months, sit at the age of 9 months and could make some sounds at the age of 1 year old. He could stand and walk at the age of 4. He could control his urination and defecation at the age of 5 years old. He could not do the fine movement till now. His understanding and reaction were slow than normal. He could not take care of himself generally. His parents want him to have a better life, so he came to our hospital.

His spirit and sleep are good. He had regular urination and defecation. His weight, height and development are nromal.

Admission PE:
Bp: 118/65mmHg. Hr: 80/min,. Body temperature: 36.5 degree. Br: 19/min. Height: 137cms, weight:39kgs. There were no yellow stains or petechial on his skin and mucosa. The respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear, with no dry or moist rales. The heart sound was strong, with no obvious murmur in the valves.. The abdomen was soft and bulge, with no pressing pain or rebound tenderness. His liver and spleen were normal.

Nervous System Examination:
John was alert. He spoke less and slurred, his spirit was stable, he could talk with others with simple words. He could count from 1-10, he was reminded by others for some other numbers. His comprehension and combining ability were not so well. He responded slowly. He didn’t cooperate with examination of orientation and calculation. His memory examination was bad. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was 3.0 mm and were sensitive to light stimulus. The eyeballs abducted not so well, he had no obvious nystagmus. The forehead wrinkle pattern was symmetrical. The bilateral nasolabial sulcus was equal in depth. His tongue was left in the oral cavity; the movement was not so well. His tongue could only touch his mouth; he couldn’t open his mouth wide. He didn’t cooperate with other cranial nerves examinations. He had flat foot, he couldn’t walk very well, and the muscle tension was normal. The four limbs’ tendon reflex was nromal. Both side abdominal reflexes were normal. Both side Babinski sign was probable positive. He didn’t cooperate with sensing system examination. The coordinate movement examination was not so well. The meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
After admission, he was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy. The patient received 3 times of neural stem cell injection and 3 times of mesenchymal stem cell injection to activate the cells, nourishes neurons, fix the damaged cells, improve circulation and immunity. He also had physical rehabilitation.

Post-treatment:
After treatment, his comprehension and combining abilities are better. His tongue movement is better, he could count numbers a little clearer than before. He could count from 1-5. Both of his hands could move better. He walks a little better.
