Before treatment:
The patient couldn’t feel his right lower leg 6 years ago and all  his four limbs became weaker. When he walked his balance was bad and he went to a local hospital and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis The doctors prescribed interferon injections. His illness was a kind of relapse-remission situation. His legs and left arm were all involved. His health became worse and 4 years ago he needed a stick to walk. He stopped the use of interfer 1 year ago and has been  unable to walk in the past 2-3 months so used a wheelchair.
At present, the patient is unable to sit up, stand, walk or roll over by himself. He wanted better treatment so  came to our hospital.
His mental health, appetite, sleep, bladder and bowel function are all good.

Admission PE:
Bp: 116/68mmHg, Hr: 76/min, body temperature: 36.2 degrees. Height: 175cm, weight: 45kg. His physical condition was normal but his nutritional status was not very good. The skin and mucosa were normal, with no yellow stains or petechia. Oropharynx was not congestive. His tonsils were enlarged and his bony thorax was symmetrical. The respiratory sounds in both lungs were clear. There was no dry or moist rale. The heart beat was strong. The cardiac rhythm was regular, with no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen was flat and soft with no masses, no rebound tenderness or general tenderness. There was no enclosed mass. The liver and spleen were not touched under the rib. Shifting dullness was negative. Spinal column was normal. There was no edema in both lower limbs.

Nervous System Examination:
Mohammed Ali was alert, his spirits were good and his speech was clear. His memory, orientation and calculation ability were normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was 3mm. Both pupils were sensitive to light stimulus and in both eyes movement was normal. He didn’t have nystagmus. Coarse test of vision was normal. There was no diplopia，no defects of both vision fields. The forehead wrinkles were symmetrical. Bilateral nasolabial sulcus was equal in depth. His mouth and teeth were in the right position without deflexion. His tongue was centered in his mouth, his tongue muscle was normal and the uvula was in the right position. He lifted his soft palate strongly. His neck moved freely and he could shrug his shoulders strongly. The muscle power of his right  arm was level 5，the muscle power of his left  arm was level 3. Both legs muscle power were level 1+ and the muscular tension of his right arm was normal but the muscular tension of his left arm and both legs were increased. The tendon reflex of his right arm was normal. His left arm and both legs had tendon hyperreflexia. The abdominal reflexes were normal. Bilateral palm jaw reflex and bilateral Hoffmann signs were negative. Bilateral Babinski was a doubtful positive. Bilateral ankle clonus was negative. Superficial sensitivily：below knee-joints pain from touching decreased. Deep sensitivity：below knee-joints，vibration sensation decreased，topognosis was normal，synaesthesia was normal. Right side: finger-to-nose，finger-to-finger and rotation test were normal. Left side: He could not finish the finger-to-nose test. He could finish the finger-to-finger test but slowly. He could not finish ankle-knee-tibia test. He could not finish Romberg test. His meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment:
He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He received 3 neural stem cell injections and 3 mesenchymal stem cell injections to repair his damaged motor nerves .We replaced dead nerves with new injected stem cells, nourished nerves for immunosuppression and improved blood circulation. He also had rehabilitation training.        

Post-treatment:
After 14 days of treatment, his motor function was better than before. The muscle power of his left arm was increased to level 4. Now he can lift it and make a fist strongly. Both muscle powers of his legs increased 2 levels. Both legs could now be raised above the bed. He can sit up and stand by himself and he can walk slowly for some steps with help. The feeling in  his legs has improved.
