A new report shows a little more than half the kids with mental illnesses in the United States are getting the help they need.
The U.S. National Institute of Mental Health report shows at least half of 8-to15-year-olds with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or other conduct disorders are properly treated.
The lead researchers says this also means half of them are being overlooked.
Results also show only thirty-two percent of kids with anxiety or depression are receiving professional help.
The study used national health and nutrition examination surveys between between 2001 and 2004.
More than three-thousand kids were involved in the study.
About thirteen percent of them has at least mental disorder.
