After 2 weeks in the hospital, a 4-year-old boy with ischemic-hypoxic brain injury, who had no speech and was unable to care for himself, finally called out “Mam”!
Muhammad Ansar, a 4-year-old boy from Pakistan, is a very handsome child. Unfortunately, he came into this world with ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy, unable to experience the world on his own or express himself, completely unaware of how many tears his parents have shed for him.
Muhammad Ansar’s parents were anxiously watching their healthy 4-year-old child struggle to grow normally. They learned that stem cells could help treat neurological disorders in children. They discovered that Dr. Wu in Beijing, China, has over 40 years of multidisciplinary medical knowledge, along with safe, effective, innovative, and world-class stem cell therapy techniques and extensive clinical experience in treating neurological diseases. He has helped many patients with neurological conditions regain their own worlds and comforted their families. Eager for help, they brought their child to Wu Medical Center.
After 2 weeks of hospitalization, Muhammad Ansar’s condition has significantly improved. His reaction speed has increased, he can concentrate for longer periods, and his learning ability has improved. His comprehension skills have enhanced, his ability to follow instructions has increased, and he is more cooperative. His self-control has improved, his emotions are noticeably more stable, and his hyperactivity has significantly decreased. He has progressed from being unable to engage with the outside world to now being able to make eye contact and communicate physically with others. His vocalizations have increased, and he has begun to say single words such as “Mam” and “No.”
Muhammad Ansar's parents have witnessed their child's remarkable progress. Under the guidance of doctors and staff, he is now beginning to explore the world on his own. Hearing him say “Mam” has deeply moved his parents. Dr. Wu's team has given Muhammad Ansar's family hope for their child!
We will continue to monitor Muhammad Ansar’s situation. Neural stem cells will help him improve further, and we hope that more children with similar conditions can regain their own worlds with the help of advanced stem cell treatments at Wu Medical Center!
