Before treatment:
Progressive muscle weakness was his main symptom. He was difficult to walk, difficult to get up, easy to fall, easy to have palpitations after mild activity. No sensory abnormality, no defecation disorder.

Physical examination:
Blood pressure 115/83 mmHg, pulse 106 beats / min. There were no yellow stains and bleeding spots on his skin. The breath sounds of both lungs were clear, and there were no dry and wet rales. The heart rate was 106 beats / min, the rhythm was uniform and there was no murmur. There was nothing wrong with the abdomen.

Nervous system physical examination:
His mind was clear and his language was good. The abilities of his memory and calculation were normal. The cranial nerve examination showed no abnormality. The proximal muscle strength of both upper limbs was grade 3, the distal and grip strength was grade 4, and the muscle strength of both lower limbs was grade 3. Pseudohypertrophy could be seen in bilateral gastrocnemius muscles. The muscle tension of the extremities was basically normal. The tendon reflex of the extremities was weakened. The pathological signs were negative. The sensory examination was normal. The bilateral finger-nose test was stable and accurate, and the rapid rotation test was flexible. The bilateral calcaneal knee tibia test could be completed and was unstable. He could stand independently with his eyes closed. He couldn’t stand on one leg. Meningeal irritation sign was negative.

Treatment process:
The diagnosis of admission was "Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy". CAST treatment and mesenchymal stem cells + neural stem cells combined therapy were given to repair muscle fibres, nutritious muscle tissue, improve circulation, immunomodulation and rehabilitation training.

After treatment:
After treatment, the child's motor function was significantly improved, he could get up and go to the ground, dress and go to the bathroom independently, the movement flexibility and speed were significantly accelerated, the walking function was significantly improved, the posture during walking was significantly improved, the gait was more stable, the balance and speed were improved, the walking distance was significantly prolonged, the muscle strength of extremities was significantly improved, the muscle strength of proximal and distal upper limbs was 4 +, the muscle strength of both lower limbs was 4, and the standing of one leg could be maintained for 5-10 seconds. The overall muscle strength is about 30-40% higher than that at the time of admission. The heart function improved, the palpitation decreased significantly after exercise, the average heart rate was 80-90 / min, and the elevated creatine kinase decreased significantly compared with that at admission.
